Meet Allegro, an extremely flashy paint gelding that is very smart and willing! He is just 8 years old, the perfect age for maturity and longevity. Allegro stands a fairly stout 14.3-15h tall, and has a good amount of athletic ability and lots of try! He has been vetted and has gone through our rigorous temperament testing and training program. He's ready to go home with you now!
Allegro has excellent ground manners and a sweet personality. He is easy to catch, lead, and groom, and he does great with the farrier and hauling. He enjoys being petted and loved on and will go out of his way to bond with his special human. 

UPCOMING: The Valais Blacknose sheep originate in the Valais region of Switzerland. The are a dual-purpose breed, raised for meat and wool. They arewell adapted to the harsh mountain conditions, being extremely hardy, prolific and frugal. They earliest mention of the breed dates back to 1400 A.D., but they were first recognized as a seperate breed in 1962. The Valais Blacknose Sheep is renown for it's calm and docile temperament.

Pygmy goats are a popular breed of goat to raise due to their social nature and small size. If you're considering getting goats, then you might want to start off with pygmy goats.  Their small size means that they require much less in the way of feed than standard size goats. Pygmies can ease you into livestock ownership and are an excellent choice for those new to owning goats.

The Nubian temperament is sociable, outgoing, and vocal. Because of its elongated ears and sleek body, the Nubian is occasionally nicknamed the "Lop-Eared Goat" or "Greyhound Goat". Mini Nubian does normally stand from 23-29 inches at the withers and weigh around 100 points. Bucks can be larger with a height up to 31 inches and weigh around 135 pounds. As one of its most distinctive features, the Miniature Nubian maintains the long drooping ears of the Nubian.

Regular sized Donkey. Like our lovable mini donkeys, this standard Jenny is not much bigger at approximately 11.2Hh. She is a proven mare having foaled a beautiful gray mare in 2022. Donkeys are one of the hardiest equine breeds, foaling generally on their owen with great success. With long fuzzy ears on arrival and wonderful temperament, these four-legged babies will WOW you!

Born just a few weeks ago, our sweet baby Joey is doing well! Between nursing and sleeping you will find him zooming around the petting zoo making his momma crazy. Joey is full of life and extremely people geared, playing hide and go seek and running directly TO you! Joey will be available to a new home in the Fall of 2021.

Although just 11Hh, this 8 year old black/white paint mare will WOW you! Flashy and talented, Daisy works in the walk, trot and cantor. She is a GREAT rodeo prospect for an intermediate rider! She has excellent speed control for a mini and has been exposed to cattle, sheep and goats. She is equally willing to tote the keiki and pony to your hearts content. A confident teacher, with excellent manners.

At 12 years old, this quiet Varnish Appaloosa gelding is a wonderful mount for beginner riders. “WOODY” is 14.2Hh, the perfect size for keiki AND adult riders just learning the sport. He is slow going and patient, with a little more “whoa” than “go”. If you are looking for that first horse capable of carrying any rider, Woody is your guy! He ponies without objection to your hearts content. He works in the w/t/c, providing his rider is knowledgeable and can keep him in stride. A great family horse!

The sulcata tortoise (Geochelone sulcata), also known as the African spurred tortoise, is one of the largest tortoise species in the world. It has a brown to yellow shell and very thick, yellowish-brown skin, along with pointed scales—or spurs—on its legs. Native to arid and semiarid regions of Africa, these tortoises can adapt to various living conditions, which is one reason why they have become popular as a pet. If you can keep them happy and healthy, they can make for very fun, curious, and friendly companions!

The Jacob is a British breed of domestic sheep. It combines two characteristics unusual in sheep: it is piebald—dark-coloured with areas of white wool—and it is often polycerate or multi-horned. It most commonly has four horns. Shy by nature, Jacob sheep have a good disposition and are “easy keepers” compared to other sheep species.

With soft cashmete fiber wool, these sweet Baby Doll Sheep are favorites on the ranch! This fall we will welcome new kids... colors UNKNOWN. However, wonders await given the array of colors in our Ewes. These quiet creatures remind one of a teddy bear, soft and cuddly. They are shy by nature, but the most loving pets when integrated into the family.

One of our favorite animals on the ranch, these colorful Alpaca females give us much joy! Raised ONLY in herds, Alpacas require the company of one another, hence you cannot raise just one. They are the smallest of the camelid species, requiring very little to thrive (only 2% of their body weight daily). They live happily in herds, enjoy playing in water and running in pasture. They also use communal dung piles! They are easy to care for and a LOT of fun! DLT Ranch will keep a male available for breeding as desired. We have one female pair available to an approved home!

"White Park" can refer to a breed, a group of breeds, or to a unique color pattern found in breeds of cattle that originated centuries ago in the British Isles. There are several old heritage breeds that have this marking. This unique color is a somewhat dominant color pattern, and is used often in crossbreeding miniature cattle to develop new miniature composite breeds. The latest crossbreed is miniature Scottish Highland x British White that has been dubbed the "HighPark". All are beautiful, calm and friendly little cattle that make great pets while producing excellent beef.
